Scope of Works:
- 2 no. Transflex TR80 expansion joints (12.778m total)
- Levelling screeds: 110mm x 20mm each side
- Transition strips: 100mm x 65mm each side
- Uniflex waterproofing membrane installation
- 4.5mm aluminium durbar plate installation
BridgeCare were appointed by Laing O’Rourke to deliver specialist expansion joint and waterproofing works to the North Bridge at Everton Football Clubs new stadium development in
Liverpool.
The works comprised the installation of two Transflex TR80 expansion joints together with associated levelling screeds and transition strips. Uniflex membrane was installed to service trough and parapet interfaces to provide a continuous watertight seal.
Bespoke aluminium durbar plates were also supplied and installed at both joint locations, completing a specialist package delivered to the high standards required on this landmark stadium development.
